You take control of a plot of land in a realm consisting of a group of other players. With your dominion and allied players, you combat the forces of good or evil using military, magic, or espionage. The goal? To finish at the top of the heap. To make your dominion and your realm the most powerful in the land, and to crush your enemies. But while the dominion community became more lively, the shortcomings of private messages and the messageboards became apparent: they lacked real-time response and interactivity. That's why the first dominion IRC channel was created: #dominion-chat. The newest version of the dominion IRC channel is #Dominion, maintained by members of the dominion community. It is a channel meant for chatter about anything (un)related to dominion, although the game rules also apply here: posting ops and/or sharing targets is not allowed. |

| You will find that there are always people available in #Dominion to explain certain aspects of the game you don't fully understand, give advice on strategic decisions (regarding buildings, troops or investments for example) or to talk about dominion-related news or the weather. |
